Shoot 2 - Straight Images

Shoot 2 - Straight Images

The images below were all taken by myself during the exam time. I like how the images are edited as I think that the more saturated images look more effective and therefore help to draw the viewers attention to them more. Also, I like the fact that the clocks have been shot from alternative angles as this helps to add interest to the images. It also allows the audience to view an alternative perspective of the clocks which therefore could be thought to relate to having an alternative view on time.

I also experimented with making my images black and white. I like the outcomes and think that they are successful as they change the meaning of the images. The images in black and white have a more sinister and unnerving feel to them. The black and white also helps to make the images appear older and therefore showing a different time period which clearly relates to the topic of the passing of time.

I especially like the image below as in my opinion, it looks a little like the moon due to the fact that the clock has speckles on it and also because the background is a block black colour. This therefore has made the image more interesting and also has made it so that the viewer's attention is more readily drawn to the image. With this image, I applied the black and white filter and also adapted the curves in order to make the image more bold and striking.
